This is a seasonal position at our beautiful farm in Kinderhook, NY!
Pick-your-own season goes from early June through October. Hours are from 8am - 5pm Wednesday through Monday, closed every Tuesday. Starting in September, hours change to 9am - 5pm.
Responsibilities:

Ring up sales on cash register

Provide friendly, helpful customer service

Scoop and prepare ice cream

Inspect every customer vehicle upon exiting

Rotate and sort produce to ensure freshness

Restock all store displays & supplies daily
-
Maintain cleanliness of all areas including store, displays, ice cream area, bathrooms, outdoor porch, parking lots, orchard
Requirements:

Friendly, polite, honest
-
Willing to learn new skills & communicate openly
-
Ability to work on your feet all day and lift heavy boxes/bags (up to 50 lbs)
-
Ability to follow direction and complete tasks on your own
Experience:
-
Cashier experience a plus but not required. We will train.

Experience scooping and making ice cream cones a plus but not required. We will train.
Pay type: Hourly, based on experience
Schedule: Seeking WEEKDAY & WEEKEND help. Part-time or full-time, seasonal. Open June - October.

U-Pick Manager

$19-$22 hourly, based on experience

Do you love farms, nature, the outdoors? This is a seasonal management position at our beautiful farm in Kinderhook, NY. Pick-your-own season goes from early June through October.
We're looking for a motivated manager to oversee the pick-your-own operation, including farm store, staff, and orchard (cleanliness, signage).
Your schedule will be somewhat flexible. U-pick is open from 8am - 5pm Wednesday through Monday, closed every Tuesday. Starting in September, the hours change to 9am - 5pm.
Must be available to work holidays during the season and most weekends. July 4th (cherries, blueberries, strawberries & more) and apple-picking weekends in September and October are the busiest times.

Experience as a retail manager is a plus, but not required
